The Mystery of the 7 Lamps and 7 Stars

Pastor Robert Walker presents “The Mystery of the 7 Lamps and the 7 Stars” in the Kingston branch of the First Congregation of Yahweh International. The source scripture was taken from Revelation Chapter 1:11-20. The occasion was Sabbath Day, Octoberber 7, 2017.

All branches of First Congregation of Yahweh met in Kingston for the seventh day Sabbath during the Feast of Tabernacles.

The theme of the feast is “Yahshua’s Message to The Assembly Today,” based on the letters to the assemblies in Asia, from Revelation chapters 2 to 3.

Take a look at the opening day of the Feast of Tabernacles in Clark’s Town on October 5, 2017.

Pastor Robert Walker from Kingston was the guest preacher in Clark’s Town on Sabbath day, July 15, 2017.

His topic was 1 Timothy 2:9.

1Ti 2:9
In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;

Pastor Walker looked at the verse a little differently. He sought to dig deeper into its meaning for us today. This he did by looking at the cultural and historical context in which the Apostle Sha’ul (Paul) wrote the verse.

In the end, it became a case of “there is nothing new under the sun.”

question and answer Pastor Walker

Pastor Robert Walker hosts a question and answer (Q&A) session during the Sabbath teaching in West Road, Kingston at the First Congregation of Yahweh International. Pastor Walker is the head Pastor of the Kingston group.

The gift of righteousness. How many persons look on righteousness as a gift? Not many realize that it is.

The presentation was based on Romans 5:17.

Rom 5:17 For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Yahshua the Messiah.

Overseer Pastor Lynval Henry delivered this sermon in Clark’s Town on August 5, 2017.

Pastor Robert Walker delivered his teaching on the threshold covenant during the Feast of Tabernacles in 2015. However, a request came up from one of our members, who wanted to hear it again.

We had it only in the form of audio and the audio quality is not 100% perfect, but the message comes through. The message is based on Psalm 50.

The occasion was a Sabbath gathering (in West Road, Kingston) of all the First Congregation of Yahweh groups.

Psalms 50:1 (KJV)

Psalm 50

[50:1] (A Psalm of Asaph.) The mighty Elohim, even YHWH, hath spoken, and called the earth from the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof.

[2] Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, Elohim hath shined.

[3] Our Elohim shall come, and shall not keep silence: a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him.

[4] He shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that he may judge his people.

[5] Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.

[6] And the heavens shall declare his righteousness: for Elohim is judge himself. Selah.

[7] Hear, O my people, and I will speak; O Israel, and I will testify against thee: I am Elohim, even thy Elohim.

[8] I will not reprove thee for thy sacrifices or thy burnt offerings, to have been continually before me.

[9] I will take no bullock out of thy house, nor he goats out of thy folds.

[10] For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills.

[11] I know all the fowls of the mountains: and the wild beasts of the field are mine.

[12] If I were hungry, I would not tell thee: for the world is mine, and the fulness thereof.

[13] Will I eat the flesh of bulls, or drink the blood of goats?

[14] Offer unto Elohim thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High:

[15] And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.

[16] But unto the wicked Elohim saith, What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, or that thou shouldest take my covenant in thy mouth?

[17] Seeing thou hatest instruction, and castest my words behind thee.

[18] When thou sawest a thief, then thou consentedst with him, and hast been partaker with adulterers.

[19] Thou givest thy mouth to evil, and thy tongue frameth deceit.

[20] Thou sittest and speakest against thy brother; thou slanderest thine own mother’s son.

[21] These things hast thou done, and I kept silence; thou thoughtest that I was altogether such an one as thyself: but I will reprove thee, and set them in order before thine eyes.

[22] Now consider this, ye that forget Elohim, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver.

[23] Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of Elohim.

In Search of Immortality

Overseer Pastor Lynval Henry delivered the Sabbath School teaching on July 15, 2017 in Clark’s Town. The teaching was entitled: “In Search of Immortality” and looks at man’s timeless quest for immortality.

The teaching started by looking at how sinful man searched for immortality outside of Yahshua. He then spent a considerable time on Adam and Eve. However, the base scripture was taken from 1 Corinthians 15:42-53.

1 Corinthians 15:42 (KJV)

[42] So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:

[43] It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:

[44] It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

[45] And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.

[46] Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.

[47] The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.

[48] As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.

[49] And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

[50] Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

[51] Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,

[52] In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

[53] For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

Pastor Robert Walker was visiting from Kingston, and he delivered the ‘main course.’
