What keeps us motivated? What kept the Apostle Sha’ul motivated to go through all the obstacles he had to overcome? Pastor Lynval Henry presents “Knowing these things keeps us motivated.”

This sermon was delivered at the Clark’s Town branch of First Congregation of Yahweh International.

The core reading is taken from 2 Corinthian 5:10-21:

2 Corinthians 5:10 – 21 (KJV)

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of the Messiah; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

Knowing therefore the terror of Yahweh, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto Elohim; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.

For we commend not ourselves again unto you, but give you occasion to glory on our behalf, that ye may have somewhat to answer them which glory in appearance, and not in heart.

For whether we be beside ourselves, it is to Yahweh: or whether we be sober, it is for your cause.

For the love of Messiah constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead:

And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.

Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known the Messiah after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.

Therefore if any man be in the Messiah, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

And all things are of Yahweh, who hath reconciled us to himself by Yahshua the Messiah, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;

To wit, that Yahweh was in the Messiah, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

Now then we are ambassadors for Messiah, as though Elohim did beseech you by us: we pray you in the Messiah’s stead, be ye reconciled to Yahweh.

For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of Yahweh in him.

This week, Pastor Henry, Elder Brown, Pastor Gordon and several members of the Clark’s Town branch travelled to Clarendon.

This was a return visit to Pastor Robert Kerr and the Congregation at  Douglas Castle in Clarendon. Pastor Kerr visited Clark’s Town two weeks prior to Sabbath’s visit by the Clark’s Town saints.

As a result, Clark’s Town welcomed visiting Pastor Michael Ward from Kingston.

Pastor Ward delivered the message: “How to Walk in the Power and Authority of Yahshua.”

Pastor Lynval Henry presents his sermon at the Clark’s Town branch of First Congregation of Yahweh International. This was Sabbath day service on September 10, 2016.

This sermon looks at “The Path to Revival.” Pastor looks at how becoming humble and of a contrite spirit could set us on our way on our way to a revival.

Core scripture is taken from Isaiah 66:1-2:

Thus saith YHWH, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?

For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith YHWH: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.

Core scripture is taken from John 13:34-35:

A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye love one to another.

The Image of the Heavenly

The Image of the Heavenly. This was the message from Pastor Lynval Henry, delivered at the First Congregatio of Yahweh in Clark’s Town, Trelawny, Jamaica.

Pastor was addressing the claim that “we are elohims (gods).”

We apologize for the dark video as the area was overcast and the lights inside the assembly were not bright enough to produce excellent video. The sound, however is clear and adequately compensates.
