angel heaven

As kids growing up in a Methodist church, we were taught that if we were good, we would eventually end up in heaven in the sky. Indeed, this is the common teaching. Everyone wants to go to heaven, which we conceptualize to be ABOVE in heaven where Yahweh is seated right now. Is this what the Qodesh Scriptures teach?

We will look at only one prophecy, and show how it will be fulfilled. This fulfillment will let us see where exactly those who overcome will end up: in heaven above or on the earth?

Ezk 37:21 — Ezk 37:28

And say unto them, Thus saith YHWH ELOHIM; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land (Israel):

And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all (Yahshua: see Luke 1:32-33): and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all (partially fulfilled because Yahshua is not yet Israel's king and there are still remnants of idolatry in Israel):

Neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things (Israel still has the occult symbol of the pentagram on their flag to prove to the world that this prophecy is still to be fulfilled), nor with any of their transgressions (Israel is still in sin): but I will save them out of all their dwellingplaces, wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their Elohim.,

And David my servant shall be king over them (Luke 1:32-33); and they all shall have one shepherd (Yahshua): they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them (the kingdom will consist of a holy people).

And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt (Israel); and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their children's children for ever (eternally): and my servant David shall be their prince (Yahshua) for ever.

Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them (Yahshua, the prince of peace - Isaiah 9:6); it shall be an everlasting (eternal, never ending) covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore.,

My tabernacle also shall be with them (in Israel): yea, I will be their Elohim, and they shall be my people.

And the heathen shall know that I YHWH do sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them (in Israel) for evermore.

This prophesy has not yet been fulfilled. Although Israel is now one nation again (in 1948), several pieces are missing.

  1. Yahshua is not yet king over Israel (the majority of Israel do not accept him as Messiah).
  2. Israel is still in sin.
  3. Israel has still not put away their detestable things.
  4. His sanctuary is still not in the midst of Israel.

How will this prophecy be fulfilled? It cannot be fulfilled without Yahshua. He is the King of Kings. He is the King of Y'isroel. The fulfillment:

Rev 21:1 — Rev 21:5

And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from YHWH out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.,

And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of YHWH is with men, and he will dwell with them (on earth), and they shall be his people, and YHWH himself shall be with them (in person on earth), and be their Elohim.

And YHWH shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new (the heaven and the earth). And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

 Rev 21:9 — Rev 21:11

And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife (the assembly or congregation, better known as "the church").

And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from YHWH (the heavenly kingdom will be on this earth),

Having the glory of YHWH: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;

Rev 21:22 — Rev 21:25

And I saw no temple therein: for YHWH ELOHIM Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.

And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of YHWH did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.

And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.

And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.

So we see that the prophecy is yet to be fulfilled. The bride of the Lamb (Eph 5:26-27), which is those of us who are true disciples of Yahshua, will dwell on this earth in the heavenly kingdom.

The earth will be totally changed (Rev 6:12-17) and Rev 21:1 tells us about the new heaven and new earth.

And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
The heavenly kingdom will them descend out of the heavens onto Israel.

Rev 5:8 — Rev 5:9

And when he (the Lamb) had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints. And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to YHWH by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;

Revelation 5:10

And (the Lamb) hast made us unto our Elohim kings and priests: AND WE SHALL REIGN ON THE EARTH.

Remember, the meek shall inherit the earth (Mat 5:5). It will not be a heaven in the sky as most churches erroneously teach. The earth is eternal and that is where the HEAVENLY kingdom will be for us to live eternally.
