Four members of the First Congregation of Yahweh International (COY) were injured in a car accident in Hyde, Clark's Town last night. They were returning from a Sabbath meeting of all the groups in the congregation, which was held in Kingston.
They are Overseer Pastor Lynval Henry, his wife Rebecca, Mother Estelle and her daughter, sister Carmen Johnson.
Pasto Henry was on his way to drop home Mother Taylor and Sister Carmen, who live in Hyde, when he slammed into a concrete pole.
Pastor, his wife, and the 92-year old Estelle Taylor were treated and sent home. X-rays showed no broken bones. However, sister Carmen's X-rays has a fractured hip.
The incident occurred near the home of Mother Estelle's son, who was on hand to quickly take them to the hospital.
Please extend your prayers to those affected as well as their families.
