End Feast Medley Unleavened Bread 2017

The Feast of Unleavened Bread 2017 came to an end in Clark’s Town on Tuesday, April 18, 2017. As usual, it incorporated all 4 groups from western Jamaica (Content, Paisley, Yorkland and Clark’s Town).

The day was marred by the news that one of the mothers of the assembly, Mother Estelle, had been admitted to hospital. Notably missing from the assembly were Sisters Joan and Ffrenchie, who were with their mom in the St Ann’s Bay hospital. Full Story.

Pastor Lewis presented a great sermon about faith, connected to the theme: “the Kingdom, a present reality.”

The day ended in the mid afternoon with the saints celebrating, singing a medley of songs, which we feature in the video below.

Pastor Kerr and Mother Estelle Taylor

Mother Estelle Taylor, one of the founders of First Congregation of Yahweh, is now recovering from heart surgery.

She had been feeling ill for the past few weeks. She was able to attend the seventh day Sabbath service in the Feast of Unleavened Bread in Kingston but she was not her usual self.

A visit to the doctor revealed that her heart rate was very low. The 93-year old who is normally as strong as a 55-year old, was admitted to the St. Ann’s Bay hospital. She was transferred to the University hospital to have a pacemaker inserted to regularise her heart beat.

She started making a quick recovery after the surgery and is now at home getting back to her full strength.

On October 22 last year, Mother Taylor was the front seat passenger involved in a serious accident in Clark’s Town, on returning from a Sabbath meeting in Kingston.

Mother Estelle does not feel Yahweh is not done with her yet. She says she asked him to take her to 100 and she believes he will take her there.

The family of First Congregation of Yahweh International would like to thank all those who offered prayers and well wishes during her time of ilness.

Here we share a video of the last time she delivered the message in First Congregation of Yahweh International, Clark’s Town: “Walking In The New Covenant.”

Mother Estelle is ill

Incidentally, at the time of writing, Mother Estelle is now ill in the hospital with a slow heart rate. The 93-year old has been feeling ill since last weekend, but was still strong enough to make it to Kingston at the meeting of all the groups last Sabbath in the Feast of Unleavened Bread.

Sabbath day March 25, 2017 was a special day for Serrita Thompson. She was baptized in First Congregation of Yahweh, Clark’s Town. She is from Clark’s Town here in Trelawny.

The baptism took place after Sabbath service and was performed by Pastor Hopeton Gordon of and he was assisted by Deacon Hopeton Anglin, both of Clark’s Town First Congregation of Yahweh International.

Serrita has been attending the assembly for some time before deciding to be buried in Yahshua’s name. We welcome her to the family of Yahweh and pray she will be steadfast and unmovable.
