The Good News (Gospel) of Power
The first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread 2018 for the First Congregation of Yahweh was held in the Arnet Gardens, Kingston branch.
The morning session was highlighted by the sermon from Pastor Henry entitled: “The Good News (Gospel) of Power.”
Pastor Henry looked into the power available to believers and how some have allowed themselves to be overcome due to sin. He then showed the possible results of this error.
Engagement and Dedication
Two children were dedicated as well in the morning. The morning session came to an exciting end with the engagement of two young members of the congregation, organist Matthew Lakeman from Kingston and singer Shaneika Edwards from Clark’s Town.
What Is The Good News?
In the afternoon session, host Pastor Robert Walker sought to answer the question, “What Is The Good News?”
Pastor Walker started by looking at that the good news (gospel) is not, by going into several popular false doctrines. He then spoke about what the good news is: the power of the death and resurrection of Yah’shua.

This week, Pastor Henry, Elder Brown, Pastor Gordon and several members of the Clark’s Town branch travelled to Clarendon.
This was a return visit to Pastor Robert Kerr and the Congregation at Douglas Castle in Clarendon. Pastor Kerr visited Clark’s Town two weeks prior to Sabbath’s visit by the Clark’s Town saints.
As a result, Clark’s Town welcomed visiting Pastor Michael Ward from Kingston.
Pastor Ward delivered the message: “How to Walk in the Power and Authority of Yahshua.”
